The business was started by John & Miriam Molloy in 1985 from home,after both returned from 5 years working in South Africa. John played First Division Rugby in Johnannesburg South Africa with Boksburg RFC & Wanderers RFC.

Today two seperate businesses operate, TeamKit Ltd & Waterford Uniforms Ltd supplying Sportswear & Protective Clothing respectively. 

 

TeamKit was registered in 2001, Co. No. 359365, Vat No IE 6379365L.

Azzurri Sport is the primary brand of TeamKit Ltd.

Azzurri Sport became a GAA Kit & Leisurewear licensee in 2002 and is worn today by Clubs, Schools, Colleges and Counties nationwide, supplying the complete GAA product range including Gaa Approved Helmets, Sliotars & Footballs.

In 2009 Azzurri Sport introduced detailed products ranges for Rugby, Soccer, Basketball & Hockey.

Playing kit is made in Waterford, Ireland allowing for a highly efficent and flexible service with further support from numerous overseas facilities. 

Azzurri Sport is available in all leading retailers. 

Waterford Uniforms was registered in 1990, Co. No. 176828, Vat No. 6576828B

Today Waterford Uniforms is a major supplier of Protective Clothing to Electrical Utilities & Fire Services in Ireland and overseas.

Users include London FS, New Zealand FS, South Australia FS, Barcelona FS, Dublin FS, Cork FS, Waterford  FS, ESB Networks, ESB Power Generation and many Electrical Contractors overseas.

Azzurri House, Kilcohan, Waterford is the base for product design, testing, sampling, after care support services and overall contracts management.

Waterford Uniforms has also production facilities in Poland and China. 

 

TeamKit & Waterford Uniforms employ over 40 persons in Ireland operating within an ISO2001 Quality Approved modern facility Azzurri House, Kilcohan, Waterford.

John & Miriam Molloy are the sole Directors of both businesses.
